What Sets me apart?

Why Coaching with JJ?

Jean-Jacques ignites human potential by uncovering personal passions, developing confidence and talents while fostering effective collaboration to seize opportunities for transformational impact. Drawing on 25 years of professional experience in teaching and leadership, Jean-Jacques has recruited and hired hundreds of employees, coached many individuals and teams and served as a catalyst for career advancement for countless professionals.

Credi Coaching is grounded in two main tenants that guide our work to support you:

  1. Meliora means "ever better" and is a nod to his alma mater, the University of Rochester motto. It's semantically related to ameliorate and fits well with the goal of improving outcomes for humans that result in improved conditions for society and the world.

  2. Ikigai is Japanese for "reason for being". We believe that when we are in sync with our own lives and the world around us, we experience the harmony we seek in a life well-lived.

Ikigai is why we get up in the morning: our passion + talents align for a need in the world that can sustain us

More about Jean-Jacques

He grew up in a large family, knows how to talk with and engage humans of all ages on just about any topic of interest. He can operate a chainsaw, discuss fashion trends and pop culture, build a deck, chef up some killer heuvos rancheros in the kitchen, and read a picture book to a group of children in the most hilarious ways. He sees things for how they are and loves a rich discussion of how to navigate our complicated world with grace, humility and joy. He believes we all want to make the world a better place to exist.

Claiming a variety of interests and passions ranging from the obvious of cooking and eating, and sports and reading; but also includes amateur project management (like DIY renovations), and other more obscure interests like rugby, poetry, writing, hockey and traveling. As an educator by trade, Jean-Jacques has worked with children and adults in a variety of settings as college teaching assistant, camp counselor, teacher, school leader and in human resources, program management and consulting in education and beyond. He has expertise in human and talent development from both parenting perspectives and his education credentials. He values forming positive relationships as a foundation for helping others grow into the person they wish to become.

Jean-Jacques lives in Decatur with his family of 5 humans, 4 furbabies, some plants scattered around the house, lots of books and a yard begging for DIY projects! When he’s not parenting (cooking, cleaning, transporting), coaching or consulting, he will most likely be playing hockey (check out AtlantaStreetHockey.com), practicing yoga or losing to his kids at Mario Kart.

Jean-Jacques can help you navigate life's challenges with clear thinking and confidence. His life passion is to help you grow!
